How to do a good deed for a stranger
How I did it: I was in a chorus that took us to a college campus for 2 overnights. It was stressful, with 9-hour rehearsals each day. At 10 at night, I was walking to my dorm when a girl came running out of her's crying. I went over to see what was the matter, and she was really upset because her cell phone wasn't working and she was homesick and wanted to call her mom. We went downstairs and asked an adult to use the phone, and even though after she had called her mom she was okay, the event just made me see how important family is and how much we can help each other. I didn't even know her name, but she was crying and I started crying too. She really made me see the importance that strangers can have to each other. Lindsay, if you're out there, thank you!
