fingerpaint

Oh oh oh what a grand way to spend a sunny afternoon. Of all the glorious ways to iron the demons out of a stir crazy toddler and shake my own insomnia-induced haze… squirting squiggles and pools of bright colours across rolls of paper and notebooks and making a big, wonderful mess.

Even Kitty got in on the action. We painted with our fingers and our toes and ended up quite covered. Why did that take so ferociously long? I raise my multi-hued hands in a toast to the crayola gods. Good show!

My daughter started a new job this evening so I watched my 3 grandkids. I was feeling rather crappy after annual medical stuff this morning and some work chores that were taxing. Didn’t quite have the energy to paint, but we did draw monsters. They are horrible things. We all made the sounds that go with them, even though that is silly. Maybe tomorrow we’ll find the finger painting stuff. We put them up in their own little gallery.

Maybe I’ll start with that shower paint. Should be easy to clean up.

I’ve been to 2 different places trying to find the paper. I’ll keep looking. This is a start though…

i went out and bought a little fingerpainting set when i added this goal, but i would suggest just getting a huge paper and using regular paint. way more fun.
