My sweet boyfriend surprised me with the third book last night. I’m usually not into this kind of literature, but man, it’s addicting.

How I did it: My parents bought Twilight two years ago. I was bored so I began reading the first few chapters. Before I knew it I was hooked. Several months later, I owned all the books and have read them all at least three times. I'm proud to say I'm a TwiHard fan. Read how I did it…

How I did it: I am a huge Harry Potter fan, and I was in no hurry to get into the Twilight mania. But, after the first movie was such a hit and I started seeing trailers for New Moon, I was intrigued and I wanted to know what it was all about. I felt that this is such an important part of our culture now that I should be a part of it. Same with the Harry Potter phenomenon, I couldn't NOT read it! After several friends also recommended that I read it, I… Read how I did it…

How I did it: I gradually bought the series after seeing a friend read it one year and bought Breaking Dawn in the August of 2008, the following year. But after reading it, I found myself wanting to hurry the story along. The plot line just dragged out for chapters on end. Read how I did it…

Omy gosh I forgot I’m done with this goal now! I finished Breaking Dawn last week and I wrote it down in my “Read 50 Books” goal and not here!
I absolutely loved this series! It gave me a great story to read, a new favorite band, and excitement looking forward to the New Moon movie! I have a new outlook on life basically. Don’t you love books like that!
I have to say, Breaking Dawn is by far my favorite book in the series!

Twilight was pretty good. I haven’t started New Moon, but plan to in the next couple months!

Okay, I got through the halfway point, and it has picked up. I’m looking forward to it now, when just yesterday, I was FORCING myself to keep reading because I was getting too annoyed. Danger makes it more interesting.

For some reason the last book is dragging. There is entirely too much yada yada yada in it. I would prefer a little more action. I’m halfway through Breaking Dawn, and it’s taken me longer to read half of this volume than it took to read the entire other 3 books. I think I could be a werewolf because the vampire transformation thing is kind of getting to me. Oh well, I’ll finish it this weekend and move on.

And I’m halfway through Breaking Dawn, the last book. Not the fastest reader, but getting there. I’ll probably drag the last book out over a couple more days so I can relish it a little. I devoured the others, and in fact read both New Moon and Eclipse within the same 24 hours! BTW, I’m not a vampire, but I could be a werewolf.

I still have to work, but apparently I don’t have to sleep much to be able to work because I’m not sleeping much because I’m reading Twilight into the wee hours. I’ll finish tomorrow, and start on the next one.
