There are two aspects of writing that interest me: fiction & non-fiction. Yeah, I know, that covers pretty much everything written between covers.
Fiction:
Up until now, the characters and stories I’ve been obsessed with have mostly remained in my head, though I’ve indulged in a few attemps at fanfiction. (For those who are interested in writing your own stuff, go to fanfiction.net and check it out: it’s free, safe and a great way to get some feedback on your stuff—not to mention it’s a lot of fun!)
Non-fiction:
Someday I’d like to write some sort of exposé. I know it’s an over-indulgent cliché, but I have a secret dream to change the world a little bit. Just leave my fingerpring on it, just a smudge. And one day, some meandering stranger will pass by and go: “hey, she did that!”
I’ve always wanted to be a writer, but I was worried I’d starve to death. Now that I have a day job that can feed me and keep a roof over my head, why don’t I try writing by night?

Just gimme a pen or a keyboard, and I’m golden. Now, if I could just muster up the courage to have people actually read my writing, hah.

Even before I grew comfortable with my own voice, I could always express myself eloquently through writing. It would be a shame to let talent, or even interest, go to waste.

Literature has become part of my live in the last 3 years.
I’ve discoverd books very much late in my life.
I’ve opened a blog, but it’s difficult to keep update.
I want to motivate me and found a way to write more often.

Litreature being my life is the only thing i ever enjoyed. Though i try my best, my shyness and lack of confidence always ruined my dreams. I really want people to read about my work and have the same feelings as i have when i read the books of my favourite authors.

I started writing when I was just a little kid, I realized that the stories that constantly flew through my mind had a purpose.
This was a gift that I had been given for a reason, I am a story teller.
I have written about thirty short stories, and I have finished three novels and I am currently working on a rock opera about teenage lives and how the world works when your young, it’s about love and all of the things teenagers in this day and age go through.
I really wan’t to get my works published, and I want to start turning these into screenplays.
I want to write and direct, but I have no idea where to start.

I guess it starts when I was about 11. See, that was around the year my father and mother snapped.
I know, it sounds strange, but something happened to them. A lot of the aspects became utterly miserable. That was about when I started to dabble in writing. But a lot of great things happened, too. I met some friends then who I’m still in contact with. Basically, who I am (ish) now began to form. This is also when I started going a lot of things I… not regret, but don’t like that I did. This is when my obsession with fire and building things started. It’s when I decided I don’t want to live in Ca forever. It’s when I started hating everything, including life. It’s when I got deep. It’s when I started thinking, it’s when I started writing. Granted it wasn’t very good, it wasn’t complete. It had no real resemblance to proper literature. But it was a part of me that could not be purged.
When I turned 13 I started changing a lot of my life. I hated it a lot less, I decided that I was going to live, I was going to beat this, “Life” thing. And it worked. It appears that this article has very little to do with my goal of being a writer, but it is completely related.
One day I’ll get paid for it, too.
