How I did it: Ever since I was a girl, around the age of 8, I loved writing poetry. I took it up again at 13, and in that experience found an older friend that helped me along. He's a published author and poet. He has a few books, and many fans around the world. He saw that special spark in my poetry and convinced me to publish it online. For a 15 year old, I don't see the need in writing a book, but I surely will in my 20-30s. Read how I did it…

How I did it: I've always loved to write & read intriguing stories.. I don't need a degree or profession to tell me that I'm a writer. I know that already. I am my own writer, I have my own persona. I am simply me. Going to school has definately helped me a lot with using bigger words & becoming a better writer... Read how I did it…

Even before I grew comfortable with my own voice, I could always express myself eloquently through writing. It would be a shame to let talent, or even interest, go to waste.
Literature has become part of my live in the last 3 years.
I’ve discoverd books very much late in my life.
I’ve opened a blog, but it’s difficult to keep update.
I want to motivate me and found a way to write more often.
Litreature being my life is the only thing i ever enjoyed. Though i try my best, my shyness and lack of confidence always ruined my dreams. I really want people to read about my work and have the same feelings as i have when i read the books of my favourite authors.
krystinakatalyst wanting to disappear.
I started writing when I was just a little kid, I realized that the stories that constantly flew through my mind had a purpose.
This was a gift that I had been given for a reason, I am a story teller.
I have written about thirty short stories, and I have finished three novels and I am currently working on a rock opera about teenage lives and how the world works when your young, it’s about love and all of the things teenagers in this day and age go through.
I really wan’t to get my works published, and I want to start turning these into screenplays.
I want to write and direct, but I have no idea where to start.
I guess it starts when I was about 11. See, that was around the year my father and mother snapped.
I know, it sounds strange, but something happened to them. A lot of the aspects became utterly miserable. That was about when I started to dabble in writing. But a lot of great things happened, too. I met some friends then who I’m still in contact with. Basically, who I am (ish) now began to form. This is also when I started going a lot of things I… not regret, but don’t like that I did. This is when my obsession with fire and building things started. It’s when I decided I don’t want to live in Ca forever. It’s when I started hating everything, including life. It’s when I got deep. It’s when I started thinking, it’s when I started writing. Granted it wasn’t very good, it wasn’t complete. It had no real resemblance to proper literature. But it was a part of me that could not be purged.
When I turned 13 I started changing a lot of my life. I hated it a lot less, I decided that I was going to live, I was going to beat this, “Life” thing. And it worked. It appears that this article has very little to do with my goal of being a writer, but it is completely related.
One day I’ll get paid for it, too.
KimiKinekie is trying to make sense of everything
I’ve written a lot of poetry and stories, also songs. I’ve had a few things published in magazines, but that’s all. I’d like to become a published writer.
As an English teacher, I read quite a bit and have done a bit of writing, but nothing substantial. I want to write something that I can be proud of and ultimately publish fiction.

I have begun a Blogger blog which I post in daily, it becomes somewhat of a chore but I enjoy it so it’s all good. I have begun my first year of high school as well which brought me a great big blessing: my English teacher is a published author. I really enjoy his book, it’s beautifully written. He helps me a lot with getting happiness with my writing. He pushes me just the right amount and corrects me until I get it perfect. In March I started publishing my poetry online, but with being a freshman, there is no need to rush on getting a book done quite yet. I’d like to publish a book, but I don’t think that will be my primary job (as an author or poet). Only time will tell!
