I heard back from him today. He called the company and they claim they never got the paperwork. They are sending him a new copy to sign, which he will then send to me so I can add my own signature. I will then send it directly to the mortgage company—with a return receipt, so I know it $*@&ing got there.

I brought all of my information with me to work today and called during my lunch break. Didn’t get through of course, but I left a very detailed message. Hopefully I will hear something back that is helpful, rather than just playing phone tag with these people.

And as a note to myself: Today is Friday. If I haven’t gotten a response by Wednesday, I will call again. And again. And again =) 5 years ago

I’ve been legally divorced for a year now, and my name is still on the mortgage to a house that isn’t mine. I’ve sent in, and re-sent, the paperwork yet this still hasn’t been resolved. I need to call again and figure out what the holdup is. 5 years ago
