visit the Smithsonian museums (all of them)

For a long time, a dream of mine has been to take a vacation with the sole purpose of going to the Smithsonian every day. And I’d still like to do that. But my child is 7, and he wouldn’t have the patience, and only some of the museums would interest him. So I’ll revisit this goal at some point, but in the meantime it’s coming off my list.

I was able to visit 2 while I was there. They were well worth it, but now that I live on the other side of the country, I’ll have to put this one on hold for a while.

I have lived here for over 2.5 years, and the last time I even visited ONE of the museums was on a school trip seven years ago. Lame, huh?

In high school, I went on a short trip to D.C. We had less than a day to spend at the museums. Ever since, I have wanted to go back, and have always thought it would make a great vacation, just going to a museum a day for a week or so. Just saw this goal on the Zeitgeist page and immediately had to add it to my list!
