I love making mix tapes – I’ve been making them since I was in high school. What is weird is that when I bring them to work or give them away, the reaction is so different now – like “Oooh – analog!” It’s as if I made them an armoire with hand tools or something. It’s not weird at all for me though – but it’s harder to find places to play them.

i went to a thrift store and bought some used cassettes. i have a bike riding mix, side A for slow, meditative and pensive rides, side B for hyper exciting wind crashing into my face rides.
i’m working on a mix for cooking to. i think there’s a tracklisting for that at tinymixtapes.com, which usually has good ideas, but i want to use what i already have.
even if i did make a mix tape for someone else, they prolly wouldnt have a cassette player…people around here are lame.
well, they’re are some cool people at the krecs board, but sending packages scare me.
I like making people happy with my mixtapes/cds.
it’s so nice when they love it wholeheartedly. it makes my heart do cartwheels.
nobody gives me mixtapes/cds though. i wish people made me mixtapes/cds.
