How I did it: well when i was younger and to a lesser extent now i used to be a big book worm, i used to be constantly glued to books but theres a library in my town and my mom took us to join when i was 5 and i have had it ever since but i have ended up owing them alot in the past with fines and what not because i am kiinda forgetful also as i am in college i also have a college library card and i have also had fines with them lol but so far this year i haven't had any Lessons & tips: keep track of dates Resources:

I am buying all those books, why I just don’t borrow them from library. Especially novels that I read for fun, to pass the time, to lough, nothing serious, nothing that I actually would like to have. Library! – that’s a solution, that will let me have more space at home and … save money. I like it.
Jesus Christ, this is madness! I’ve spent the past few YEARS spending more money on books than I do on anything else, though I suspect I’ve hardly read 20 per cent of the hundreds of volumes I’ve managed to amass (I tend to abandon some of the books I read after just 100-200 of pages for various reasons) and I’m now trying VERY hard to resist the temptation of buying FOUR more (“Dangerous Liaisons” by Mr. de Laclos, “The Gambler” by Mr. Dostoyewski, “Sophie’s World” by Mr. Gaardner – I have this one in the PDF format, but after 250 pages my eyes already hurt – and a history of philosophy in three volumes written by one Mr. Tatarkiewicz).
It’s Easter time now and the local library is closed, but I DO need a library card and I’m determined to go and get one as soon as the holiday is over!

There is a library approx 3 miles from my house. I walk to work a lot (10 miles cumulative) so 3 miles isn’t too bad at all. I think I will do this goal along with my running goal! Two birds with one stone indeed! Now I will have a reason to get my butt outside and walk/run AND I get the books I want to read for free AND I have to lug them back on foot to the library so that’s extra workout for me!
It is amazing to me that I have not actually done this yet. I know the library here has funny hours and that they conflict with my work hours but there is always Saturday. I could go get the card on Saturday. This Saturday I am gettin my library card !
