Have been quite good at this, but am still checking emails too often and getting waylaid, so I’m now aiming to only check email at the start of a work session and inbetween distinct work tasks.

I really need to get better at this, I tend to jump about from one task to another. I sit at a PC – it’s all too easy to try and multitask, but in truth I think I get less done that way. So I’m going to choose my task and focus on it until it’s done, and don’t check emails in the middle – that always makes me jump off to something else.
