"This has been the most heartfelt gratifying thing I've ever done."

How I did it:

I decided I wanted to help get the word out about "Breast Cancer Awareness" by encouraging people to do their monthly self-exams. I am a survivor of this dreaded disease. Early detection saved my life. I sent out literally hundreds of invites to fellow 43T'ers who responded immediately in overwhelming numbers. The Buddy Check 12 Team is still active and reporting in every month on the 12th. Go Team!

How I did it: Every month on the 12th I had to do a breast exam and report in to the group.  Reporting in was at times difficult due to connection problems, but I did my exam religiously.  Happy to say that in the months that I was part of this team I have encountered no suspicious lumps and bumps.
