    Plan C 3 months ago

In my teens it was possible to attend a con for little more than the price of admission .They had hospitality suites stocked with food and 24 hour Anime rooms for a few hours of sleep . It just don’t work that way anymore besides I’m too old and civilized .
Plan C will be to take my roommates car (he said OK) and stay at a friend’s house in Tempe . I’m glad to know I can do it on the cheap , not attending was not an option . Now to see if I can work a plan A or B .

    Effort Required 3 months ago

I’m a statistic in the economic turn down . About seven months ago I had to switch jobs and my income was cut in half . Fortunately I’d been reducing my cost of living already , got rid of my car ,cheaper apartment etc . Still I’ve done a convention a year for the last decade without trying . Now the biggest convention ever is coming and I’m scraping 5 months in advance just to get there .

    Nope. 7 months ago

I’ve found something else I’m much more likely to spend money on. I would love to go, but I know myself and my unliklihood when it comes to saving, so with a little regret, this goal is toast.
