The last two days

The last two days at work I have been in the department that I LOVE and guess what… they asked me if I want to be the night person over there, permanently! Woo Hoo!!!
How to switch departments at work.
It made me 
"I don't feel like knifing my co-workers any more"
How I did it: I put in for a transfer to a department that I loved, and guess what... they love me to. And they actually appreciate my work. I had temped in the department before so I already knew what I was doing and now, I get to work on night shift, alone... as in, no boss there to watch me. It is nice to feel like they trust me enough to let me do that.
Lessons & tips: If you are unhappy at work... change your situation. Work already sucks enough, why let it really bother you too.

I though I was going to have to wait until after summer break to get switched but I heard this week that they are going to slide me over to another department that really needs my help in about 1 more week. I can’t wait! The department I am going to go help in is the department I LOVE! Plus, it has the same boss as the department I am permanently transferring to after summer so it will give me another chance to impress her.

You know, it feels really nice to be wanted in somewhere. The lead in the department I want to go to next season told me she wants me right now. I would lose my seniority for 6 months but I don’t care. I would give it up forever to be away from the evil bitch that thinks she is my boss.
I will do this, or quit.

I HAVE to get out of the department that I am in at my job. I have been working in the same department since I have started (3 years ago) and I have to get out of there. I cannot take all of the drama and two faced people that work in there. My boss is a total joke. And my supervisor is a dick.
I have already talked to another supervisor (who is awesome, and a good role model) about moving over to one of her departments after the summer and she said she would love to have me. Hopefully it will all work out, just so I can see the look on my bosses face when she finds out I won’t have to deal with her crap anymore.
