tippytoes is a self-knowing, self-improving tree hugger
So I’m more than halfway there on my first weekend, but somehow it feels like I won’t be able to make it. After 7 full hours of yoga yesterday, countless sun salutations and variations of them, I can barely lift my arms past my waist. I’m reasonably certain that if I have to get into downward dog one more time, my arms are going to give out and I’m going to fall flat on my face. But other than that, I love it. I love this total yoga immersion and I feel like I’m on another retreat – so relaxed and there’s so much to learn and new information coming at me from every direction. I’m truly in my element. WHY didn’t I sign up to do this sooner??? :) love, love, love ♥ have I mentioned that yet?

I just got home from the very first session (Day 1, Weekend Session 1 of 11) of my Yoga Teacher Training course. We did some yoga, we introduced ourselves to each other, we met our instructors, and we talked about some general administrative things.
Tomorrow and Sunday: full Yoga immersion, 7 hours each day. I have a feeling this weekend will end with lots of pain. :)

I’ve signed up! My course starts the weekend of October 22nd and runs every second weekend until April. I’m excited! :)
I’ve bought the Yoga sutras to read prior to the start of the course – I want to immerse myself in the philosophy and history of Yoga too, not just the physical aspect.
