Treefern it's going to be a good year
The ticket sales opened this morning at 10am and they are almost all sold out.
Lucky I checked.
How I did it: I've always wanted to see a ballet and all of a sudden, my sister produced four free tickets gifted to her and I got to go! Third row from the front - so close I could hear their shoes squeaking on the floor. It was a great experience. I saw "Raymonda."
Lessons & tips: Do it at least once in your life!

My friend and I are planning on going to see the Peter Pan Ballet in March. We are obsessed with J.M. Barrie and the entire Peter Pan story so this seems quite perfect for us. Yay!!! It looks fantastic.
Living In God's Exquisite, Miraculous Sufficiency wishes everyone a very Merry Christmas!!!
I’ve seen the Nutcracker a few times in person.
undercover_laura free time....suggestions?
the nutcracker in Tampere (wasnt too good – the story was bad) the supporting orchestra was marvelous though!! and saw anna katrina whilst in Riga. it was truley amazing and the story was beautiful!
I saw a performance of Sleeping Beauty yesterday and it was wonderful. The lead was perfect and it was very well produced. Well worth doing and I will be making an effort to go to the theatre more often now.
A performance of swan lake will in my area, coming up soon. I don’t know any details yet, but I really would like to go!!!
I went to see the Russian nutcracker and I didnt really expect to like it but it was pretty good. The funny thing is I went to see fear factory live the same day. What an odd combination of beauty and metal.
lob has lots to organize...
The Nutcracker in December, because my oldest son was in it. Very nice! Very impressive!
My mom & sister got me tickets to the ballet for my birthday this year, and it was absolutely stunning. It was the opening night of New York City Ballet Company’s premier in Chicago- the first time the company has come to Chicago in over 25 years! Much of the show was a review of George Balanchine’s works.
I’d never been to the ballet before, and I expected it to be beautiful, but when I saw that the running time was about 2.5 hours, I expected to get bored at some point- but I didn’t! It was absolutely riveting. I always have loved ballet, but now I think it is even more beautiful than I did before.
