How I did it: Just by taking a look around (literally) & taking a look within. Seeing something & knowing when it's had it's day or knowing that you are not showing it the appreciation it deserves. Knowing that something could be put to better use elsewhere.
I donate a lot of the stuff I let go of. I've sold a small percentage of the 40 items I've now tracked here. Some items I consider small & trifling so I combine them together to count as one. I don't know why... Perhaps it's all about the impact?
Lessons & tips: Practice mindful awareness with all possessions.
Resources: Clothing bins, salvation army stores & when there was no other option, the trash! haha.

Okay, I feel like I am always doing this but yesterday I through out some more olde make up junk. not much though so I add to this #40 (why so obsessed with size? 0_o)...
Another item of clothing. I resolved this weekend that this red jacket I’ve had for 3 years and worn about once really should go to someone who will love it!

I’m counting a couple of things as one because one olde odd sock doesn’t seem like enough so I am adding recycling some cardboard boxes that have been cluttering our laundry to it.

I used to love love love these. I still kind of like the idea of them but I’d rather upgrade to some nicer beads. They’re broken anyway so I think it’s just time for them to go. No more plastic!

Was decluttering under my bed yesterday and I threw away a pile of books and notebooks that I don’t use any more. And a bag… A hideous one :)

MORE! I cleared out my pencil case that was a little too chaos & found some things that could go. Mostly colour pencils that were always CRAPPY.
