i really need to get back on track with this goal, i am still far too many times in the ‘finish what is on your plate’ mode.

doesn't seem to work that well right now... 5 months ago

although i intend to do it it requires a conscious effort, which right now is hard, i am in the process of moving cross country and going on an overseas trip for two month on top of that, so my life is pretty chaotic right now and i just forget most of the time to ‘cut back’.
once we are ‘on the road’ it should be easier to manage.

in achieving this goal. since i started using them almost exclusively it takes me longer to finish a meal, therefore giving my stomach enough time to signal ‘i’m full’.

i did exactly that yesterday and was absolutely amazed, i wasn’t hungry once, who would have thought. i think some of us get into a certain habit, s.a. portion sizes, and continue to have the same throughout life without taking into consideration the changing body’s needs.
this has been very enlightening indeed, i will continue to keep this up.

ok, it is here… the dreaded mid life – mid riff spread.
the disappearing waistline, the one feature that i most cherished about my body.
i noticed that i have shifted fat off my hips and thighs, but now it accumulates around my upper belly… ugh. that don’t impress me much… so i guess it is time to cut down on solids, up the ante with weight bearing exercise (see C25K) and drink more water.
