see the nothern lights

I went to canada, and stayed at my friends house.
We started a campfire out in their backyard/beach on lake superior.
And saw the northern lights in the sky.
it was amazing.

I grew up in Brazil and I’ve always read about the Northern lights and seen it in movies. Well, I wanna see it live now. I’m living in the US and I hope to take a trip up north soon to check it out :)

I read Phillip Pullman’s trilogy His Dark Materials and ever since then I have been obssessed with going to see them. I have seen pictures on the internet, but to go and see them in real life would be amazing. Hopefully when I have some money I will go, but i don’t know where or when to see them.
