I believe in Optimism. But it was not hard wired in my DNA. So I have to work hard to stay positive.
Picked up a book from library: “Unstoppable” by Cynthia Kersey. I hate the typical self-help goal setting books. But I need to read these once in a while to motivate myself. This one has stories. So hopefully I won’t be bored. Most likely I will skip the action plan. Let’s see.
I am already feeling positive. Upped the moral-o-meter to 5 from 2s and 3s of the week long depression. Yay :)

Re current fallow period in art – the optimistic angle is that I will get my mojo back and enoy making comics again, and get a better work/life balance once I am working 4 days a week – which optimistically, will get granted.

Lots of good research on this but also I have found that my mind seems to tend towards worst case scenarios which then make me stressed – imagining best is gonna happen seems to relax me and usually works out anyway.
