    *Day #1* 16 months ago

    I have had only water to drink today (no Sprite). It was easy the first part of the day ~ the last half of the day has been dragging. I am really digging in my heels, though….

    However, there are still four hours left before bedtime and I must be strong ~ my tastebuds are crying out for Sprite!!

    Sigh~

    *Why I cannot do this is beyond me...* 16 months ago

    I got off of Mtn. Dew and moved on to Pepsi.

    I got off of Pepsi and moved on to Sprite.

    Now I’m stuck.

    I really need to do this before school starts back. Less stress and more time to focus on it. Plus, maybe just maybe that week of nothing but water can help me pull away from these other drinks for good. I have made strides, but not at all what I want for this goal.

    I’m going to start again tomorrow (I’m tired of hearing myself say that).

    *This has been one of the hardest goals for me...* 20 months ago

    It is also one of my oldest goals. Why I can’t complete it is beyond me, so I’m trying the “challenge myslef” route. My consequence is to delete my Postcrossing account if I do not stick to my challenge. There is no way under the sun I’m going to just let myself do that, because I absolutely love postcards! So, I will not go down without a fight on this particular challenge….

    I’m starting tomorrow and it will end next Tuesday. I do not know how in the world I’m going to distract myself, because I’m extremely hooked on sprite right now.

    *I Really Need A Pepsi Right Now!* 2 years ago

    I’m working so hard on this!! I want a Pepsi so bad right now!! However, I really, really, really need to change how much caffeine I consume. It’s ridiculous. Also working on:

    *Eating more healthy (ate a wonderful healthy breakfast this morning) ~ printed off the food guide pyramid and sticking to it!
    *Getting more exercise (going walking after lunch)
    *Getting to bed on time and not oversleeping (did really good yesterday, but not so good today)

    Having tremendous trouble with this goal!! Going to start again on Monday ~ hopefully being off of work will give me more time to focus on this!
