get a nice tax return (which means filling out the dreaded tax forms ...)

It’s funny, this goal. Really all I have to do to get it done is bug my friend often enough so that she does it for me. I think we are almost finished. I think the check has already arrived in the mail, from the feds at least. I wonder if the state check has come in too. And I think I’m still waiting for her to get to the bank to deposit it. Maybe she’ll leave a comment on this post telling me what has happened lately. Maybe I’m done with this goal already and I don’t know it.

Everything’s filed (thanks a million M!), now I’m just waiting for the check to come in.

Tried to finish up the taxes today, but I can’t without M at the other end secretarying. Emailed her some questions, hopefully I’ll get this done tomorrow. I may have to file for an extension …

I also need to still do the state taxes at http://www.ftb.ca.gov/

Ok, I’ve got everything done (I think!) except printing a couple of forms. Funny that electronic filing still requires paper. So when I have access to a printer, I need to go to https://www.taxactonline.com/s_online_tax2007/introduction/taxact_online.asp and enter my user name and password and print it off.
