Try Needlepoint Embroidery

While I’m glad I tried this… I’m just not one of those crafty people. I honestly don’t care about my tapestry. At least I tried it. I’m going to freecycle the tapestry (I only did four little lines) and see if anyone else wants it to test out of they like tapestry. 3 years ago

I just bought my first embroidery “tapestry” thing for beginners. It’s a 10cm x 10cm snail in these cute vibrant colors. The idea is that I do something to rest other than be on the computer which isn’t exactly restful. Of course I could draw… but shell no.2 looks more like a clog and I don’t find drawing peaceful as it’s more intellectual looking at perspectives and shading. So I’m hoping this is something that I can do with my hands that is quiet, calming, restful and stops my brain from thinking. Really that last one shouldn’t be too hard. ;) 3 years ago
