How I did it: I thought about the
ethics of this one a lot. I love to travel and live abroad and wanted to leave
my mark the special places I visit, but not to damage someone's property/ be
antisocial
My solution was to buy
a jumbo weatherproof padlock (enormous- so that I had space to write) and lock
it to a fence on a piece of scrubland. Only my property was written on and the
padlock could be removed with boltcutters if it was really a nuisance- but the
land was deserted.It says 'The town was
paper but the memories were not' which is a quote from John Green that is
incredibly important to me.
NB: I went back later
and went over it with a permanent marker as the lettering was rubbing off! Read how I did it… 2 weeks ago
