How to get a lip piercing
It made me
 "nerve racking but worth it."
How I did it: I knew I wanted my lip but I kept putting it off. One day I convinced my dad to get a piercing. He got his eyebrow & I went with. While there I knew I wanted my lip but I was freaking out from the sound of the tattoo gun [even though I wasn't getting a tattoo]. So I said I'd be back & I left. I waited until I got the courage & I walked into the shop with my boyfriend & signed the forms. I laid on the table close my eyes & waited for her to say te words "breathe out". Once she said these words I did as she said & she pushed the needle through & put the jewelery on. I opened my eyes sat up. I felt a little lightheaded from freaking myself out. The piercing itself didn't hurt bad at all. You feel the needle push through the second layer of flesh but, only for a second & it really is not bad at all. it's over right away. afterwards you can feel it swell & the piercing feels hot. it's also a bit weird getting used to drinking and using chapstick. Overall it was fine & the healing isn't bad either. I thought it would be much more irritating than it is. I've had it for about a month now & I love it. I'm getting another one next to it soon! |

How I did it: I went with a friend to a local pircing parlor. It took me a month to decide whether or not I wanted in on the left, right or middle. It looked good each way but i felt the middle was just sexy the others were cute. So middle it was. I also got it pieced as close to my lip as possible so if i wear a stud you can barely tell it was there, this was i wouldn't have to take it out if i wanted to job hunt. How I did it: Got a fake ID when I was 16 and went with my best friend to the local piercer. I took really good care of it and used oral b non-alcohol mouth wash to clean it...by far the best oral piercing cleanser...i even use it on my ear and nose piercing's! Read how I did it…

ok so i just figured i want a piercing.. and well im a lil chicken. ima get mine on the lower lip to the side.and well im scared it might hurt but wen i do it. i hope it wont hurt! o well ima do it anyways.

I got the left side of my lip pierced for free. My local piercing place had a “Buy one, get one free” deal going on all last week, so my girlfriend payed to get her labret done and I tagged along and got the free one. Haha. It looks cute, but it hurts still.
I really want it done im 14 mom said i can soonish :\ maybe in a few weeks or so :)

Well, I was talking to mum about getting my lip pierced and she said if I get my teeth fixed [they were damaged coz I hit them on my friends head, but thats another story..]

I’ve wanted a piercing since, like, the start of last year. At first, I desperately wanted my tongue done, but of course, I was told no. So I researched for a better piercing, and settled on my bellybutton, I loved it, but I changed the bar too early, yeah, long story. And now I want my lip done, because I’m too scared of getting my tongue, I’ve asked my mum and she, well, idk what she said. And dad is strongly against facial piercings.. so I shall wait & see, maybe for my birthday on the 9th of Feburary? : )
im so addicted. i got my tragus and rook and now im goin to get my lip. HOPEFULY, i will stop at the lip :P

I have wanted this piercing for about 2 years now. I am 17 in two weeks. and my mom is letting me get my nose pierced b4 my lip. ugh so Ordinary. Im still trying to beg her to let me get it done b4 my nose. :)
