learn to manage expectations involving ziming. get past trivial issues. start by limiting to 1 issue per 3 weeks, then per 1 month and slowly per 1/2 year.

Wedding planning has taught me a lot about dealing with managing expectations. First of all, the beautiful wedding pictures that you see in bridal magazines are more expensive than you think—that “wow” factor comes with a very hefty price tag. I haven’t had anyone close who had a fabulous wedding, so I thought I had a reasonable budge for what I wanted. Now, just 2 more weeks until the big day, I can say that weddings are not only expensive, they are ALL ABOUT EXPECTATIONS, and knowing when to listen to my gut, and when to listen to my wallet. Good lesson for me managing both expectation AND money.

This is a hard one~ 20 months ago

Most of my life I’ve reacted to other people’s expectation of me and have had too many expectations of others that resulted in disappointment. I think when you try to be everything to everyone and yourself, it’s too difficult. Whether it be perfectionistic tendencies or just plain bad boundaries, it’s time to live more in the present, and experience people as they are.
