read a Christian novel

I just finished reading Emerald Windows, by Terri Blackstock. It was one of the more interesting novels I’ve read in a long time.

The Christian part is fascinating—how one character comes to believe in the religion, how one character has such powerful and fulfilling faith, how Christianity is woven carefully into the plot. What makes it different from a class on Christianity or from attending church is the characters. They are people changing, learning, and affecting each other. That is what makes the story interesting.

I’m going to start on the Christian thriller later tonight or tomorrow. This author also writes suspense. I trust that Terri Blackstock will be able to keep me interested.
