sleep in pretty lingerie

another one to add to the pile. not super sexy, but definitely pretty and beautifully soft. used my secret $10 and got it for $24. score.

finally bought myself something that i can wear right now. on sale for $9.99 at my local macy’s. love the zebra. this is a little more casual than traditional “lingerie”, but it’s pretty, and it makes me feel sexy… so i think it counts. i essentially just want to stop sleeping in sweatpants and oversized t-shirts all the time. (although every now and again it’s probably ok).

bought another teddy like the first one in beautiful dirty lavender. i’m building a nice collection, but i’m still too fat to fit into any of them.

i had a $10 off coupon hanging about in my email box, and i couldn’t say no to this one for $18. i love the little shorts, they remind me of what lingerie looked like in the 20s and 30s. now if i could just stop shoveling in the fluffernutters, perhaps i might actually look nice in this when it arrives.

brazenly hijacked this idea from archaeologychic, so thank you. i think it’s the best idea ever. bought my very first piece (have a few tatty old scraps of lingerie around, but nothing that makes me feel amazing- as is the point of this exercise) this weekend, on super sale for 9 dollars. love it because it’s vintagey. not ready to wear it because i am still working on the pesky muffin top (as detailed in list above). have it hanging in my bedroom both because it’s beauteous to behold, and inspirational in terms of de-fattening my ass. hopefully i will be able to add a few more to the collection before the spring when it’s appropriate to sleep in such things. currently, we’re in the midst of a motherfucking shitstorm of snow. definitely sweatpants weather.

gonna get some pretties and maybe even a little eye mask….haha. Just cuz I want to be pampered. And not to impress any man, just for myself:)
