fill a jug with coins

I just looked at my jug to check on my progress and noticed that it is just a half gallon jug!

I got a little excited at first because it was half full, but then I noticed the size stamped on the bottom and it just kind of bummed me out.

Not that it makes any difference. The goal does say “jug” not “gallon jug”. I guess it just looked bigger because its glass. Well I have 1/4 of a gallon of coins.

Well on the brighter side a lot of the coins are quarters, and the majority of them are silvery and not coppery, meaning they’re not pennies.

and I want to cash them in and then again I don’t. I guess I don’t want to start over again is why I don’t want to cash them in and I do want to cash them in cause I want to know how much money I have! Does that even make sense? If I do nothing and I will die, it won’t make any difference, my son will get it all and he will have no qualms of cashing it in!!

Maybe I should take a vote?

Well I went all through my car and all through my house and found as much change as I could and added it to my drawer. I found a lot! Now the jug is almost half full. (What an optimist I am! Half full.)

I have glass gallon jug with the bottom inch of it filled with coins, but I’d like to fill it. I wanna see how much money it takes to fill a jug like that. I’ll let you know when its full how much is in there. :)
