Managing my energy and discipline myself are key factors in becoming consistent. My family is my priority and I have to work around them to achieve my goals. It is not difficult, just that I can’t say that I will do X thing at X time because of the unpredictability of being a parent and a husband. However, I am able to bring my family to do things I do by inviting them, join them or setting a happy medium. It is working!

Not really, this was going well until a major setback, But however, I think I can pull through, I think at this point is where all I know will be tested…

I have now been consistent for more than 6 weeks straight!! Wooho!! 4 weeks ago

Anyone ever get the feeling they loosing themselves into an unknown world of predictability? , I am sure all who ever take up this goal know what I mean, and it is kinda freaky that I can now describe myself into one of those RSVP boxes or in less than 200 words Yaikkkssssssss

So I started out with doing one thing consistently per day, then I added another, and then another… and well, I now have like 10 things per day that I tend to do consistently , without fail, they just seem to roll into one another – OMG! being consistent is the killer of being beautifully RANDOM

Hi All :) 2 months ago

Being consistent in everything i do is actually my biggest challenge.
Example: gym / work out!
i adore running 25 min a day .. if i skip one day.. i sleep with a guilt and id hv bad mood during the day :S mom knows, she shouldnt talk to me :S!!
Example 2: iv been longing for my music lessons, when i finally hit the road .. i started having ups and downs ..
and the list goes ON and ON

So I got a cheer the other day for this goal – seems like unpredictable is not on the list of desirable qualities LOL
I have not been reading any books, or watching any movies, or even doing all the other funky one off stuff I was doing before I started this goal – BUT I have been consistent! – it kinda seems like I am doing fewer things but they are being done well – Quality not quantity I suppose.. HMmm… more on this one in a bit…..

I am serious about becoming financially independent, but I realize that sometimes I am not consistent with my goals and following up with the plan. Managing parenting and businesses, my priorities change depending on the mood or situation of the day and I feel that I’m not in line with what my priorities are regarding my goals. I want to achieve so many things in my life and multi-task my day making it happen. I find it overwhelming to plan many things at once and stick to a routine. I need to stay focus on what’s important, follow through until I achieve my goal….even if that means one at a time.

Consistent, I usually saw this word in cooking books, ”.........make …. until consistent…”
But it does make heaps of sense to be consistent -, I mean honestly how many times a day do think, “am I being consistent?...” ..... “oohhh , I’d better watch out,... that does not seem consistent…”
I mean seriously, BUT,
isn’t it all inspiring to entertain the thought that one can consistently work on projects and see them through?.
As alien as the word is to me, I think I can learn to never live without it!
