i’ve been watching the news, reading the paper, listening to the radio, generally just been keeping myself informed of the goings on in this crazy world!
Everywhere in the world is so different, it would be amazing to learn about each individual country. But of course, it may take a while!
I really want to do this. I really love world history, and world geography, but I don’t know a lot about it.

I do it in a haphazard way and I’d wanted to make it more planned, but I want to free up my 43 things for more basic and quickly achievable ‘marker’ goals that I can achieve and mark poff so I can get the sense that I can and DO achieve things.
i <3 the world! once you know everything you have to go anywhere as long as you don't say your american (i suggest canadian or de espana) mmm, then you will get to go to exciting markets and eat exciting foods!! the world is great!

Having said that the stuff you can watch is not to be knocked – watched progs about Munich Olympics terrorism attacks and the serial blunders by the authorities re this – unbelievable.
Mt St Helens doc with my son last night, he tells me he’s studying this in Geography, so that was interesting – can’t conceive of the scale of that.
Tonight Elvis Presley bio – I wasn’t a fan, but what a phenomenon. Really appreciate his ‘journey’ and do so with gratitude, cos he helped shape ‘our’ times.
Have met some folks from different backgrounds, etc this week – so not all through a screen !!!
