what I want to concentrate on, they may still need to be reworked but others can just go straight away. Many of them could be used as rewards for achieving the more mundane goals that I have!

like – looking after myself and my family better
– finishing my course
– decluttering my house
– getting on top of my finances
– spending time doing creative things
perhaps they are enough areas for me to concentrate on. Now I just need to look at little steps I can take to make progress towards them i.e. break them down into smaller achieveable goals

where I want to achieve things, like my interior design course- I could break that down into smaller goals to get a sense of achievement. Also my house/home goals and my financial goals could become more specific and task orientated. I think I am focusing on the end I want to achieve where I need to focus on the next immediate task, as I achieve each small step that will hopefully provide me with the motivation to continue with the next step until I get to the bigger goal I want to achieve. At least I might make more progress than I am making now!

I need to review my goals as some of them are so vague that it is hard to track progress on them. I have also changed alot since I started some of them and perhaps they no longer fit with who I am, so now I need to declutter my goals and think more clearly about what I want to achieve!

There are still one or two goals that I’m lukewarm about – but I haven’t found good replacements for them yet. I am really happy with my recently added goals though! So the reworking of goals is done for the moment.

about close ended goals working better. Right now I have too many open ended goals. I find I’m losing track of the important ones. So now to evaluate, delete, close off and open a few more short term goals.

When I look at my list of goals – I want to feel enthusiasm for each and every one of them! And I’ve discovered over time that close-ended goals work better for me (like “walk 30 minutes twice a week”) than open-ended goals (like “make the world a better place”).
