write letters to family once a month

with pictures from our August Cannon Beach trip!

sent a letter to Mom & Dad with pictures from Cowpokes Camp at Little Bit! Sent some leaf-print cards to Sakiko in Sacramento.

Mailed a nice long letter to my sister with prints from our Playa del Sol Grand trip. Mailed another letter to Mom & Dad, also with prints from Mexico trip.

I found an old sticker book Max was done with so I scavenged all the ‘yellow’ things out of it: ducklings, sunflowers, lemons, butterflies, daffodils etc. and put stickers all over the box! I think she will like the hibiscus tea – it makes really delicious iced tea; a quart of cold water, 1 teabag and let it steep in the fridge overnight. For some reason the cold water steeping brings out the other flavors in the tea (cinnamon, lemon etc) so the hibiscus isn’t so overwhelming. I sent some pretty dishtowels too, I love nice dishtowels! April Cornell is my favorite but all the brick-and-mortar stores in our area closed! Amazingly, my favorite shop in Cannon Beach had a nice assortment of April Cornell things and I bought a bunch of dishtowels in March when we went there.

when we were in Cannon Beach last month. My Mom and Dad are moving this weekend so I can send them a letter at their new place! Maybe even a housewarming/care package. . .hm.
