How to get a Private Pilots Licence

feel accomplished. 
"Tons of reading and practice"
How I did it: I went to the local municipal airport, signed up for ground school and spent the next several years, due to intolerable winter weather, doing the in-air lessons and check out flights. It took a lot of reading, memorization, theory and practice to pull it together in the end. However, now its like a bicycle, you never forget how to do it.

Just read from the ground up several times, memorize the POH of your desired aircraft and mentally go through in air procedures and practice precautionaries and diversions and you will be golden for the flight test

To be able to fly a small plane would be an incredible achievement and I would love to have that kind of freedom. Went for an introductory flight a few weeks ago and im so keen to start lessons as soon as I have the money!
