For retail technology interests — 7 months ago
There are (literally) thousands of online communities for everything, but not really any good ones (those without massive sponsorship interests) for retail technologies. NRF has an OK one, Gartner as well, but those are driven by the advertisers.
I would like to see a community that exist for IT types in retail that has wikis, blogs, forums, news, etc. for retail technology and those that work with it everyday. I’ve been working in retail systems for 15+ years both as a consultant and as staff and think that I could contribute some useful knowledge to the whole. Everyone’s know something about something right?
