Be spirit filled and spirit led.

Just like scripture says, knowing God and respecting Him is the beginning of wisdom. Insight is gained from knowing a Holy God. I see this truth emerging in my life. The closer I get to Jesus, and the more I long to be led by the Spirit, the more I have to give out of love to others. My top spiritual gift is encouragement… and now I see God taking that gift to a whole new level. It is like the scales have fallen from my eyes and I can speak the spiritual over people, rather than only encourage people in the natural. It is really exciting and inspiring. All I had to do is be open to the deeper things of God. Drawing near to the Holy Spirit is really producing amazing blessings in my life. And the fun part is sharing it and giving those blessings to others!

I’d like to enjoy my spiritual side instead of suppressing it for fear of being thought of as too ‘out there’.

I ask the Lord to order my steps daily. I want to remain in the will of the Lord. And I am trying my best!

I wanted to get my daughter baptised and as her Dad had been baptised when he was a child, I decided to get myself done aswell. It kind of put my mind at rest once the service was over and we were both finally christened. I haven’t always been a believer because of various reasons but I do believe in God now. At least I want to. I don’t know alot about all the christian beliefs but I am trying to get through the Bible, slowly but surely, and that is something I thought I ‘d never say. I would love to have a strong belief and I hope I will someday.

I give it up.

I luuuuvvv the Holy Spirit! I pray for more!

The Holy Spirit makes me feel so calm and peaceful and there’s no other feeling like it! When I was in Spain with Youth With a Mission someone talked to us about the gifts of the Spirit and one of them being speaking in tongues (Acts 1). Someone prayed for me that I’d get the gift and one day I did! It was like something inside of me just started speaking and a new language came out of my mouth! Speaking in tongues brings me so close to God and helps me to walk in the spirit and be connected to God. Read about it in the New Testament, especially in the book of Acts and in 1 Cor. 12-14. Pray and ask God for the gift, believe in faith and who knows…you might receive the gift too!

I want the decisions that I have to make for my children to be ones that I will not regret later. If I’m spirit led I know its the Lords will for them and should circumstances arise I can rest in the fact that God allowed them. Being a wife and mother is challenging enough. I’m thankful God never expected me to figure it out on my own.
