I used to be really motivated to do this and I did it all the time. I was better academically and I ate better too, but for years now I have neglected to do it and it’s plain to see. Starting tomorrow I am doing it!
People doing this are also doing these things:

uhhhh… Yeah I haven’t exactly done that… BUT I do exercise daily now… I play basketball most days and I run some and I do yoga!! So this entry has new rules I guess lol
I think if I could build up to where I run for a mile or two every morning I would get a better start and feel more healthy.
There are so many interesting trails here in The Woodlands. Maybe I’ll start by walking every morning?
Any suggestions?

Well, that does it folks. Did it for the third straight day. I might post here for the next couple days or I might not. But either way, it looks like it’s time to focus on my next goal:
“Wake up when my alarm clock goes off.”
Wish me luck. Hopefully these two goals will be able to work together.

I find myself up far too late. However, I do believe in the past few days that I have found the formula that I have been looking for. Perhaps it wasn’t me just being lazy after all. Perhaps I’d set my sights at a level which was somewhat unreasonable for someone in the shape I’m in.
Granted, maybe unreasonable’s a bit too harsh a word but I strugle for the correct one in this instance. But either way, it makes sense. If I start at 1 mile a day, I can build from there. If I try to run two miles a day, and burn my tendons/ligaments/muscles out, I won’t run every day and then find myself back at square one: running no miles a day.
So I think I’ll set myself to this: if I can run a mile tomorrow with at least one lap to wind down, I’ll call this goal complete. If it’s not, then I’ll continue onward.
But all is not lost. If it is complete, I may look into adding another goal along the lines of “Run 2 miles every day” instead of the just vague “Run daily” but somethings better than nothing and hopefully I’ll with great pride be able to cross this off (and yet renew) my list.

Yup did it again today. Went out an ran before taking the shower. I’m about to hop in the tub again but I’m begining to think that at least for the first few weeks it might be easier to just run one mile instead of two. My joints aren’t as sore as when I do two miles and because of that, I’m not deterred from running again tomorrow.
Oh, and I found my mp3 player while I was looking for the nose spray today. Apparently, the nose spray idea didn’t really work, but the mp3 player gave me something to listen to on my way around the neighborhood. I might want to consider getting something to hold the mp3 player though as I just had it tucked into my shorts and during the course of the run, it fell out, causing me to scramble to pick it up and reset it, which may have contributed to a 9:23.58 mile time, which I’m not too proud of.
ok. bath time.

The primary reason why I didn’t run the second lap is because I wussed out. The seconday reason was that it was cold enough that my nose started to get congested, making it hard to breath.
However, for the lap that I did run, I didn’t stop, didn’t walk, didn’t inhale through my mouth (exhaling through my nose would have caused quite a mess with the congestion and all), and ran it in 8:53.98.
Tomorrow, I’m going to probably use some kind of nose-spray prior to going out in hopes stopping the congestion. In any case, the underarmour turtleneck I got for christmas, which I had intended to use for skiing, worked great with no noticable areas of sweat on my upper body.
In the long run, since this is a goal that must be accomplished “daily” it might be better that I only did one lap, as tomorrow, I might be a touch on the sore side. To help prevent this, I’m going to hop in the tub I’ve been filling, and then get on to the other chores I was going to do today.

I go back to school on Sunday. This starts when I wake up eight hours from now. Before breakfast and before the shower. Only thing I’m doing is brushing my teeth and putting in the contacts.
Two miles, no stopping, no walking, no breathing through the mouth. One mile walking to cool off afterward. After that, it doesn’t matter until the next day when the process repeats itself, but earlier. This thing’s been on the list just too damn long.
Update as necessary.

I try to run every day but it doesnt want to happen. I ran about 2-3 miles yesterday, and today I was going to…but then didn’t. I need some sort of motivation to help me do it daily. So where’s this “runner’s high” that people speak of?!
