I moved to NYC to go to college and now I feel slightly stuck. So, I just want to save enough money to be able to move somewhere that is not a city.
How to move out of the city
How I did it: My family was kind of forced into this, which pleases m - it was a goal for awhile! When my husband's line of business crashed at the beginning of the year - he does tile and the business is just no good right now - we struggled before finally taking the oppurtunity God gave us and moved out of Phoenix to go to Paulden, AZ - population somewhere around 5k.

Well, at least I’ve been traveling a lot. I guess that’s the first step, since I’m not sure where I want to move to. Plus, it takes away the grating, dull, feeling that being stuck this city can sometimes give.
... although the Peterborough transit system is not to be believed! But I can hear crickets at night. I want to buy a house on the river.
We don’t move until the 28th, but I finally saw the apartment on Sunday (my husband was the one who viewed it and applied for it). It’s not palatial, but it should be okay for the year he’s in school. Hopefully, after that, we’ll work on buying a house. Most importantly, I think my cat’s going to love the floor-to-ceiling windows!
Our application for a two-bedroom apartment in Peterborough, which, might I add, costs less than our one-bedroom apartment in Toronto, has been accepted. We take possession on July 15th. Gosh.
I’ve been after my husband for a while now to move out of Toronto, and now he’s been accepted to teacher’s college at Trent, so we’re going. And once he’s done, we’ll decide if we want to stay.

Moving is not worth doing, but moving away from the city is definitely worth doing. I did this several years ago and I do not plan to ever move back to the big city. In fact, my wife and I are thinking about moving even further away from the city in the near future… out where chips are something that you step in. :)
I’ve had it with this place! Too much fuss, not enough plus. I want a country hearth, a whittling stick and to roam a field of butterflies and dandelion fuzzies. The city hurts my paws! I wanna wear a country dress like I used to.
