Put others before myself

I have been working hard on this one, but I still have a ways to go. I may never get there, but I want to at least make it habit enough that I can cross it off my list. I have been trying to put others’ needs before mine, let them go before me while driving/in line, and just helping how I can. Although it can be really draining at times, I am reaping the benefits of allowing others before me. Christ was the ultimate picture of humility—He came down and became lower than everyone else so that we may have life, and God raised Him up to the utmost high. I want to be like Him and go below everyone so that God, too, will raise me up.

I want to just make it a habit, and think of others above myself. I want to let them go before me, serve them before myself, think of them before me, and love them, no matter who they are.
