Carrick is determined to ride the bus to work this summer

    Not worth it!

I’m not sure why it didn’t work for me as expected. I didn’t notice a significant benefit from daily irrigation the jala neti way. Perhaps this is something best learned from an experienced neti practitioner?

It makes sense so why not?  — 3 months ago

    Not worth it!

To “practice Jala neti” sounds so much better than to “practice nasal irrigation” although that is what it is.

I suffer from seasonal allergies, as well as dog and cat dander allergies, and I’ve never found a suitable medical solution to my suffering. Keeping those nasal passages clean and moist seems like a no-brainer thing to do. So, I recently bought myself a neti pot and have been “practicing Jala neti” twice a day since then.

It’s a little weird at first but you get used to it and your nasal passages will thank you. It’s also a great way to entertain the kids. “Come watch me pour water in one nostril and see it come out the other!” Magic.
