celebrate my 30.5

I had dinner with friends at a new neighborhood joint (French fusion). There was lots of laughter, good food and we all left in a good mood. We then set off to a local no-frills club (read- wood paneling, carpet, and Xmas lights along the dj booth) and stuck out like sore thumbs but ended up having a great time.

Remember when you were a kid and you claimed every increment in your age with pride I am seven and a half years old, thank you very much…
Well I was abroad (studying) for my 30th birthday and while I did enjoy it with some new Parisian amis (and am not complaining in the least about feting another year of life in such a beautiful city) I missed celebrating with my hubby and stateside friends.

Soooo- now that I am back home I have decided to celebrate my 30.5! Undecided on exactly what we will do but looking forward to May 2nd.
