I would LOVE to attend a Joe Hisaishi concert! All his songs are masterpieces. Hana-Bi is probably my favourite composition, it is haunting and beautiful. You can watch it here:

His scores for all the Miyazaki films are pure brilliance. He’s definitely one of the most talented composers of our time, ranking high up there with Thomas Newman, Ennio Morricone, John Williams and Hans Zimmer. I would be honoured to watch him perform live. 3 years ago
