see the 2010 Passion Play in Oberammergau

I’ve done considerable research on this trip. I think that for my interest it simply would cost more than I would like to spend. 4 days would be about $2,800 not including spending money. It seems iffin I were to spend that money on a trip, it would be a trip that encompassed more of what delights me.

It strikes me that it may be because I have never been to Germany. I know iffin I were to go to one of the European countries I have lived in, I would feel a wee bit differently. Home, Sweet Home(s).

Mind you, iffin Mom were alive and we were going together, I suspect we would go. However, we would make it a grander trip, staying longer and doing more. On my own? Not so intriguing of an adventure.

I’ll mull it over awhile and see if any nook or crannie in me is disappointed.

This is a 7 hour musical which has a long intermission for dinner. People travel from all over the world to see it. A thought occurred to me though. If it isn’t in English…....... I guess it would be like seeing an opera…......

I am checking with a tour operator to confirm the language. I wonder if I will want to go if I can’t understand a word!
