Think Better of Myself

I really don’t think very highly about myself. Even when people tell me things like I’m smart or pretty or something like that. Only when I’m in a positive mood or I hear it from someone who means a lot to me.

it happens…

I just have difficulty believing it most of the time! Going through a bit of a bad patch at the moment, which is probably why I’m questioning myself so much lately. I suppose astrologers would tell me my star sign is going through the House of Saturn, or something like that, but I just wish it would hurry up and stop dawdling through all the rooms! I was fine by the time I finished therapy, but that was 2 years ago, and sometimes I wonder if I’m worse off now than I was before I started therapy. Once the summer is over I think I’ll find myself a nice evening class to join – it’s probably a better way of making friends than staying at home watching tv and drinking too much wine :-)
