meet the president

I initially had a negative reaction to our current president. But, I feel I have some ideas I’d like to share and it is in everybody’s interest to get along and work together. Also, time is running out on a lot of things so I must hurry.

This past week, I was supposed to meet president Obama. I was a part of Girls Nation and in its 63 years of existence, when the president is in DC, both Girls and Boys Nation get to meet and take a picture with him. Not this year. He was in the White House as we toured it, but when we got out, we were simply standing in the rain, waiting for something to happen. He didnt even send someone to say he wasnt coming. It has been the second biggest disappointment of my life. Even Bush met with the senators of years past. And Michelle Obama was a former senator of Girls Nation!!! But, this just means the item will stay on my list for a little longer I suppose. It will happen, I will make it happen and it will be AMAZING.

I’m not a huge fan of Mr. Obama, however, I still would like to meet him. Who knows, maybe he’ll surprise me and be better than I anticipated. Bob Barr 2012!

I am very happy that Barack Obama won because I believe hat he can make a big different in the world and can save us from getting killed in iraq

Well I met Bush Sr. after he was president, and I shook hands with Barack Obama before he was president. I guess I just wanna meet a current president! I’m so glad George W is almost gone!!

On the South lawn of the White House just after he landed in Marine One. Was with a bunch of Young Republicans.

I want to meet the president of the U.S.A. The closest I got was the white house front yard. Who shares my goal?

though i know that only great people want to visit the president

but still i am proud of myself so i want to meet THE PRESIDENT!!!!!

But I did get to shake hands with Jimmy Carter at some political rally when I was a child. Pretty cool.

I WANT MEET THE PRESIDENT I WANT TO SEE HIS HOUSE AND JUST TALK TO HIM AND ASK HIM WHAT ITS LIKE!!! I THINK IT WOULD BE THE MOST AMAZNG THING EVER!!!!!
