My friend Mike is helping me play guitar. He played for five years and loves giving lessons. As long as I try, I think i’ll do it.
Worth doing!
if you keep going and practice. I took some lessons but I have really small hands so it was kinda hard. I also got bored with playing because I couldn’t play anything interesting yet. If I kept taking lessons I’m sure I’d be playing some songs that I love, but I didn’t want to give it the time.
shariangelinlove growing my hair out as long as it will grow
i need a guitar to learn to play one so i dont have the money for that. i’d rather buy a house… oh wait i am! go me!
fenderplayer is very tired

I’ve been Playing the electric Guitar since October 2005.
I started with a cheap peace of crap, and now I have a Fender American Deluxe Strat… I’ll keep it for the rest of my life.I’m not a fabulous player, but I enjoy playing.
Try it, it’s really fun!
beginner, teaching myself, and it’s a slow process. my hands hurt all the time! but there’s this pull, i can’t give it up, i will learn to play. i’m just know getting the basics, hope to learn a couple songs soon
n it just.. well i’m into alotta experimental music, like slipknot n gojira but uh.. im lurnin my power chords n even though i can make music like nirvana.. who wants to! right? i mean well n i got this band but we’re not in sync w/ each other n i got all these ideas but we dont have a bass player, but a dude w/ a bARITONE guitar!! n no drummer, but a guy the beatboxes well the guitar is great instrument to play though and uh.. if u think it sounds right look confident n i’m sure somebody else will like it as well… n make sure to always take advantage of all the technology out there i do get a distorter, pedals n did i mention itz so much easier to learn if uve got an electric guitar cuz with the right amplifier u can make that one particular sound u hurd some band play n u can prolly make it too if u tried.. thatz uh wat i enjoy about the GUITAR…
Besides, let’s face it, guitars are eminently more portable than pianos. Plus, they look cooler.
I still think I prefer piano, but a guitar has more simplicity to it, at least to me. Yeah, it’s not as easy as “push a key, get a sound,” but for some reason it just seems “lighter,” if you can call it that.
