Identify stupid little things that make me happy.

1. The booming sound system connected to my television! Whoa! (A little Keanu Reeves for ya…)

2. Stupid movies. After all, it gets so boring writing movie reviews for just the good ones.

1. I love Disneyland.
2. Getting something in writing – a letter, a note—from family or friends.
3. A nice cup o’ tea.

1. Quiet mornings with nothing scheduled.
2. A walk around the lake with a friend or a friendly iPod.
3. The Oakland A’s. A quiet little team without fanfare.
4. Looking at my lawn.

1. Baseball. It’s baseball time! (I write, as I watch Grady Sizemore hit a homerun in the 1st against Joe Blanton, one of my favorite A’s pitchers.)
2. Twitter. A great, high-tech, silly little obsessive way of keeping track of my family.
3. On a 90-degree day, I’m thankful for the money I put into insulation in this house.

1. Catnaps.
2. Office supplies. I don’t know why it is, but I get a little grin on my face when I open up a new box of paperclips, or bring home a stamp pad.
3. Wearing my favorite watch.
4. Getting mail. I love getting mail. Each one is like a little present.
5. Watching a sitcom. Whomever invented this device should be crowned.

1. A hug from A, J, or R.
2. eBay
3. Reading the newspaper. A REAL paper.
4. Listening to the symphony AT the symphony.
5. Going out to dinner. Or lunch. Or breakfast.

Ooops…gotta go. I’m going out to lunch.
