I’m a 22 and 6’2 who loves to walk and workout, but everytime I want to do something I just don’t have the energy. I’m hopeing this will work cause I need to prove to myself that I can do it and lose weight for me, and not for someone else. Please Help me :)



I need to lose at least 50 lbs 6 months ago

I am Erika, a 23 year old mother of 2. Over the past few years dealing with polycystic ovarian syndrome and endometriosis, I have gained a lot of weight. Through high school I was 118 pounds and now I have reached 208. In order for me to be healthy and have a healthy BMI I need to lose at least 50 lbs. I have been using alli, drinking a lot of water, eating a little healthier, and doing pilates for 2 weeks with no results thus far.

So, i woke up today with the best intentions (honest). Anywhoo, i ate a good breakfast of 1 toast and 1 egg. I swalloed my multivitamin and my mum even dropped me into town so i could go gym. I got this nice yellow tshirt from T.K Max which matches my gym bottoms i brought yesterday. I also got a nice black sleevless cardigan and a nice necklace. Yes, anyway i eventually started working out at 9.30, for a good hour. My gym is proper pissing me off. Its so busy these days, cant hardly get onto the equipment. I have to go in super early just to workout :( but anyway i done my friend Emmas exercise class at 10.30-11.30, worked out a bit more, then had my protein shake. I power walked to the Bikram Yoga centre only to be told that the class had been cancelled!! WTF! Anyway, what a waste of a journey. Then when i got home and wanted to eat lunch, i didnt cook the veg properly, nor did i cook the patatoe properly :S what a distaster. I then had like a whole packet of cookies! Then a lot of peanuts :( n it was downhill after that!
I went to the gym again for a cardio class at 5.30, Emmas wasn’t feeling well so we didn’t end up going Bikram Yoga and i brought some chocolate and scoffed that! My god, today has been an utter disaster! :( im so bloated on top of that.. i could so tell in the mirrors at the gym. I have to lose 4 stones by september, it doesn’t look like its going to happen!! Anyway, lets hope tomorrow is a better day! Toodles

The first step 8 months ago

Ok, so now i have taken the first step to losing my excess weight! Woop woop. Let me tell you a little bit about myself. Im 24 years old and im from Leicester, UK. I use to be a gym freak before, going anything up to three times a day to workout or to participate in classes. Then i had to have an operation and i stopped going gym. However, i still stayed fairly slim. Then i became ill again and lost over 2 stones, which totally transformed my figure. I loved it, i was the slimmest i could remember being during my adult life. Anyway, to cut a long story short i have always had body issues since i was about 12. So i got it into my head that i was fat. I joined another gym but i got so depressed about my weight that i ate a lot of rubbish. Then i felt bad, so i ate some more. It was a cycle that lasted about three months during which time i gained 4 stones! Now, i am on a mission to lose the weight and go back to being 8 stones. I have 6 months here and there to do this and i am so determined. I go to the gym monday to friday, alternating between an upper body and lower body workout. I do a heck of a lot of cardio, participate in alot of the exercise classes. I have also started doing Bikram yoga, which is FANTASTIC! The only thing dragging me down is my diet. But i am determined to take control. From tomorrow i am not going to eat any rubbish and stick to my healthy and reasonable eating plan.

Holiday to Greece in 6 months time. If i can get rid of this weight i know i b=will be happy in my swimming costume and be able to wear some funky lil sun dresses. I soooooo soooooo want to be able to snorkel without worrying about my jelly butt in the water….. so come on i sooooo can do this !!!!

I have a job that i work 16-24 hours a week at. I am trying to ger ready for college. And everything is so stressful. I have tried to lose weight for 2 years now. I was on birth control and I gained weight but it seems so hard to lose weight. I exercise when i can and i dont eat fatty foods but i still keep gaining weight.
