Attract two new clients

I am still working full-time, but am gradually building a private practice so I can transition to that. I saw a new client today, and we will continue to work together. Tired as I am after working at school all day, this is still worth it!

I will see a new client on Tuesday of this week. She and I have talked several times, and she is finally ready. She had a head injury several years ago, and has a fluctuating problem with stuttering (and probably word finding). This should be very interesting!

Well, it’s been slow and I haven’t minded. I worked hard all school year and needed a break. But this next year I will be actively seeking to attract clients, so that I can reduce my school commitments to half-time or less for the 09-10 school year. I’ve been asked to participate in the Health Fair put on by a local charity. This year the target audience will be adults and children, so I can market to both.

I am scheduled to test a new client on Saturday. I am doing this pro bono to practice giving a new test. I need to get my feet wet on working with adults again.

I have a small private practice in addition to my full-time job. Two leads have come up that I can pursue to get two new clients, but I’ve been procrastinating. Do it!
