encourage everyone to display their "recent activity" to make it easier to cheer their comments

since some of my 43T friends still haven’t done this:

Click on “customize,” which is in the top right-hand corner of the right column on your home page. Then check the boxes for “Recent Activity” and “The 43 Universe.” This will make it easy for anyone looking at your page to navigate around and find your recent comment/entries to cheer or comment on.

so go over to the right colum, click on “customize” and select “recent entries” – its that simple, and a brilliant way to let everyone know what was recently on your mind

Am so glad the “recent activity” link is back!

If you click on the “customize” button on the top of the right hand column of your home page, you can choose the items you want everyone to see on your page.

If you click the boxes for “recent entries” and “The 43 Universe” it makes it a lot easier for people to navigate around your pages and read what you’ve been up to – especially people who aren’t subscribed to you.

There are several other options for things you can show on your page, so if you haven’t checked it out yet, be sure to take a look.

Also, I think a lot of people unchecked the “about me” box, so that it doesn’t show, because they didn’t want their birthday showing. The Robots were kind enough to listen to our concerns, so now you can blank out the birthday and leave the rest up there. I kind of like seeing the “member since” information and where people are from, so I’m kind of hoping people will check that box, as well.

I’m wishing for an ability to reorder the things that show up in the sidebar. I’d like the cheer activity at the top so I can see who’s been cheering me when I have cheers of my own to give away.

please everyone, please do this! When you go to customize, please opt to disply “my recent activity” so that I can cheer your comments as well as your entries!

then I posted complaints about the state of things, then Flirt instructed people how to do it, then Kim added a suggestion to Should Do This. Have I done this?

Also, for those of you who don’t know, you can blank out the birthday under “About Me” so it doesn’t show at all. And if you don’t fill in the “About ME” quote area, it won’t show up. That way you can leave the “About Me” up and share a little about yourself with the rest of us.
