I have been out of town for a little bit, but I have made some headway. So far, I have given away a shopping bag full of clothes that my daughter has grown out of and have thrown away all stained and overused clothing.

I am in the process of of filling up another really big shopping bag to give away tomorrow. The office manager at the day job takes them to church and I have been giving away clothing to her since I started—3 years ago.

While I am at it, I am going to clean out my tote of summer wear and try and keep up this momentum. 5 years ago

For the next few weeks, I will be going through my apartment and purging—clothes, books, toys, you name it! We have a bunch of big black garbage bags and I am going to throw away the things that can no longer be used, donate my daughter’s too-small clothe to a co-worker’s church, sell boxes of books and the furniture that we need to get rid of on CraigsList and keep it moving. 5 years ago
