create a space and time for creativity

now comes the time part

my upstairs room, and it feels more like a garret now that I’ve gotten used to using the kitchen counter

It’s oddly alone

For a couple of years my husband took over this space, leaving me the downstairs office, which is really pretty and all built in. But the downstairs office had all his stuff in it, especially the paper stuff, and there was also the electronic stuff.

I like it better downstairs, but we shall see. It’s easier to carve out the time and use it here, where it’s just me, the walls, and my desktop.

It will mean organizing a ton of paper in the downstairs office, and removing the old computer that is not currently working but has its parts ready to be installed sitting in the garage.

I just organized my desk at work. Oddly, it took several days for me to get used to working outside the clutter and chaos I foment habitually as I stir through the vestigial remains of deceit and collusion, following the trails of thieves and cheats of various sorts.

Is there anything better than being creative? Probably not! Then why don’t I do it more often??!

This is what I need to do.

I hope to be able to have this as a short term goal, mark it as done, and continue with my creative endeavors at a regularity my dentist would admire.
